How to use this bench
Indicator bench — pick a substance from the rack and read its colour against the pH scale. Switch to “Strength & concentration” to see why a strong acid and a concentrated acid are not the same thing.
Titration bench — choose an indicator, then add the acid to the alkali a measured amount at a time. Watch the colour change and the live pH trace, and try to catch the exact end point.
Reaction bench — pick an acid and something to react it with, run the reaction and read the gas test. Also sorts oxides and chooses a method for preparing a given salt.
Quiz — three rounds: read a colour, multiple choice, and put a method's steps in order.
